As an ethnic minority, navigating initial cultural differences presented challenges. Yet, the welcoming and supportive environment within the tech sector assuaged these hurdles. Yuan did, however, encounter assumptions regarding visa sponsorship that impacted recruitment opportunities. Despite these challenges, Yuan remains steadfast in his optimism about the sector's potential while advocating fervently for a fair and inclusive tech landscape that provides equal opportunities for all.
Yuan said "EMEEN's vision to promote a network within ethnic minorities in tecnology (EMIT) is commendable and many good things will come out of it for technology sector through this exciting network.
